Hi all,
I am planning to build a new PC to enjoy the new UHD 4K Widescreen monitors to end the year. Probably I buy the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG35VQ. Below is an overview of the PC that I have in mind. What do you think?\\
ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Strix Gaming 11G, Grafische kaart
ASUS ROG STRIX X299-E GAMING X299, socket 2066 moederbord
Intel® Core i7-7800X, 3,5 GHz (4,0 GHz Turbo Boost) socket 2066 processor
G.Skill 16 GB DDR4-3200 Kit, Werkgeheugen
Samsung 960 EVO, 1 TB SSD
Samsung 850 EVO, 1 TB SSD
Corsair Crystal 570X RGB, Tower-behuizing
Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H100i v2, Waterkoeling
Corsair CS850M, 850 Watt voeding

My first build, so if i made a mistake i would like to know :)

I think you should wait until we get some more news on Intel's new 8th gen processors but i know nothing about the x-series from intel so anyone feel free to correct me on that.

First of all, theres nothing wrong with intel but threadripper just offers so much more for lower prices. intels current core x is redundant and heats like a fusion reactor.

Everything else there is a little to argue with, its all preference and brands.

This world is so unfair, why are there rich [insert_serious_insults] in this planet that can afford something like that?

Ok enough rant

Build looks solid, like others I would look at Ryzen as it offers similar performance for less money. With the money saved there you could look at a 2nd 1080ti to help push the pixels of a 4k WS

Such an expensive build and you cheap out on the psu?? Get something better such as the corsair rmx or evga g2/3

@stealth80 is gsync still possible if it's a Ryzen build?

Could you you help me with the components?

The cpu has nothing to do with gsync. As long as your monitor supports it and you have a newer nvidia card, gsync will work.

What is your budget? Also, Gsync is used with newer NVidia GPU's is not related to CPU's

Alright I thought so, but just to be sure. My budget is around 3K. I want no compromises on performance when I have the new monitor.
