I doubt its a mining card, since they lack any video output ports, and in some models on the page it does. Also 1060 3gb are rarely used for mining, so they probably wouldn't do it.

a mining type card is purely a card that CAN be used for cryptocurrency mining, it is not that that specific card is ONLY for cryptocurrency mining. it can do both

Can be used for gaming also, dont see anything about mining on there. Would opt for the 6GB though, 3GB isnt really enough.

Mining card looks like a compute card with graphics card cooler: Open air cooler, no video output. This card is not a mining card. It can be used for mining, but not only mining.

Also, with 3GB VRAM it can't mine very well.

Is the card used or new. Gigabyte typically offer a much longer warranty. So I would not buy a NEW card with only a 3 month warranty even if it was slightly cheaper.

EDIT: I have found some retailers that call this a mining card.  That might be why they are offering such a short warranty. This card will game just like any other 3GB 1060 though.

I know a few people who use them and have no problems. Obviously depends on the rest of your system but it should be fine.
