I got bored and I'm recreating a dead thread that I made quite a while ago, this one will be updated regularly.

 

Notes:

  • Performance based on a mix of common sense, userbenchmark, and 3DMark scores.
  • Nvidia cards listed first, AMD cards second regardless of performance
  • Cards listed by performance under brand category
  • AMD Cards from R9 200 series to RX Vega series listed
  • Nvidia Cards from GTX 600 series to GTX 10 series listed
  • AMD cards with a model name ending in an (X) is faster in performance than the non (X) variant of the same card

*SLI or Crossfire scaling and support varies from game to game, performance can vary.

I can say with safety that my 970 did perfectly fine in 1440p UW. I'd up it at least one tier tbh.

I have a GTX 970 but I literally only use my computer for this forum, ebay and  youtube. 

 

 

At this rate that card is going to last forever for me.

This is kind of interesting list.

 

I just swapped out my 970s for 2 OG titans as I wanted more vram and higher Cuda count for video work. Turns our even know a single 970 is about 5% faster than a single og titan. 2 og titans in sli is abour 15÷ faster than 2 970s. I pulled 15k in firestrike with the 970s now I'm getting 18k with the titans. Go figure.... 

 

Maybe the 6gb vram vs 3.5gb really make a difference in sli.

How about adding R9 Nano to "high end value cards" and R9 285 to "mid range value cards"?

Moved Fury series, although the R9x2 and Titan Z cards are still competitive with the 1080 in a lot of games.
