Hard to clean tho, he'd have to disassemble the whole aio and use pipe cleaners. Issue is he could reconnect the pipes badly and risk leaks.

Just the tubing alone would make we want to avoid the PC.Who knows what else it went through

That's not an AIO, it's a custom loop that's probably pretty old now, definitely flush and change the pipes.

Yours faithfully

Oh yeah, it isn't. The picture was pretty dark so I didn't see the rest of the loop in the top corner :P

Welcome to the forum.

There are several factors that you have to consider when posting something for sale. Comparatives, local conditions, etc.

You can ask here, and the information you get will be borderline useless.

Here's what you do:

  1. Go to your local classifieds site. You'll have to figure out which one is popular in your area.
  2. Look at the other PCs that are for sale.
  3. Price accordingly.
  4. Sell.
  5. Profit.

Also, have you ever done proper loop maintenance? As it sits now I wouldn't offer $300 for it.

My rough estimate:

GPU: $225

CPU: $75

Mobo: $125

PSU: $20

Case/fans: No value (gigantic cases are not a selling point)

Custom loop: No value (you know you're not supposed to pee in those, right?)

That puts it at an "I think it's worth" price of $445. If I were looking to purchase this, I would offer you $200, and that's more for the GPU than anything else. The mobo carries decent value because eBay is still stupid about X58 boards, but the condition that the inside of your case is in would make me, as a buyer, think that this is a neglected PC. The toilet you call a custom loop makes me question if it's been maintained at all, and if I'm questioning whether a PC from 2009-ish has ever been truly cleaned, I'm not going to make a significant offer on it.

Harsh? Yeah, but that's the reality you'll face. The type of buyer that has any interest in a PC with a custom loop is going to lowball you to hell and back because of the condition yours is in. If you want to broaden the system's appeal, clean the case, ditch the overpriced sewer system you're calling a custom loop, slap a 212 EVBLOW on there and list it for $600, then be prepared to accept something between $400-450.

If you don't clean the case, you're lowering your offer prices. If you leave in the custom loop, you're isolating a segment of buyers who just don't want to deal with liquid cooling. If you leave the custom loop in its current state, your best buyer will be a university biolab in need of a new bacterial incubator, and they're not going to want to pay much.

Clean your stuff before you appraise/sell it, people!!!

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

Hypnotoad's RAM is dying, his motherboard is acting like the 6-year-old AsRock it is, a couple of SATA ports have just stopped working, but the RGB remains. The RGB always remains. Hypnotoad lives. All glory to the Hypnotoad.

Very nice computer. Do not let these people fool you. Your computer is worth minimum $2,000. In love with how the case looks and dirtiness means nothing but I would definitely get it cleaned!

Welcome to the forum. Please don't appraise computers until you have some basic understanding of how to appraise computers.

Or stop trolling. I kind of think it's the latter.
