New computer

Hi!

 

I'm starting University and I need a new laptop. I need some help to choose between Mac and Windows. And if you recommend me Windows please tell me which laptop do you recommend me please.

HP Elitebook and Lenovo ThinkPad are what I'd be looking for with a Windows PC, since they are well built computers that rarely die and easy to repair if they die

Either way, Windows is probably better for your needs. Depends what you'll be doing with it though. Just word-processing and you'll want a cheap little one, if you want gaming then of course you'll want a larger one with better specs.

What do you do with it? Mac does have better apps for audio recording / tuning that type of work, but for general use then Windows one will do.

If you're programming, I'd recommend a windows laptop as you can install alternate OSes like linux which can help when programming.
