Planning on getting ssd

Hey guys I have built a pc a few months ago and now I have enough money to buy a SSD, the problem I feel is having to install windows and everything else again. I have a 1tb HDD but windows booting is very slow. Can I migrate everything to the ssd or is it not possible? If possible then how?

ya you can migrate everything including the windows os if your getting samsung you can use http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/downloads/software/Samsung_Data_Migration_Setup_3_1.zip

Adata have some very cheap 128GB drives, but if you want more space/performance you'll have to up your budget a bit.

What about from Kingston? 120gb ssd?

Yes you can migrate the whole drive if it's under the ssd size, I did it. You can either use macrium reflect or the Samsung software

Drivers maybe... I didn't have to tho. And you don't have to reinstall games it The size of the files on the HDD are less than the ssd

Kingston are fine. Not the most amazing speeds, but nor does Adata. With speed comes price.

All my games or on a different partition, but I just thought moving the entire windows partition would mean I'd have to reinstall
