Headphone Software uses a lot of ram, can I close it?

You should, afaik that software is only for configuration and settings so they should function fine without it.

At least, that's the case with Razer and Corsair headseats, so I'd be surprised if Steelseries were any different. Razer and Corsair's programs also use a lot of ram.

Your headphones do not rely on SteelSeries Engine to function but will disable any non-static RGB configurations or program-specific profiles upon exit.

thats like a spoon needing software

I love how some headsets are simply plug-and play. It's too easy to plug in headphones or a headset into the 3.5mm. jacks and have everything work perfectly out of the box.
