mDP HDMI Hub

So I have a laptop with one working video out, mDP, I want to output to multiple HDMI monitors at the same time. I have found this from Amazon,  http://a.co/ieKjI2q. Will this extend the monitors that my GTX 1070 can drive? The mDP out on my laptop is 1.2 at least. I want to be able to output to a 2560x1600 and a 1920x1080 monitor.
