Ballistix Memory on Ryzen???

I know there are some people who have had good luck with Ballistix kits, but that can depend on your motherboard. It should be fine, but I'd see if you could double check with the compatibility list for your mobo.

Hello Everyone,

 

I am building a computer, and have gathered all the parts except the Ram. This is a Ryzen 5 build( the 1500x to be exact) and I've heard Ram can be a bit finicky with Ryzen processors. I am deciding in between the two RAM kits linked below. I would like to try to use the Ballistix one(to match the color scheme) , but I will pick whatever one gives me the best performance.

Statistically - the ram looks near identical. I know that LPX series ram works with Ryzen - not sure about Ballistix.

From what i heard, on a 1500/x anything higher than 2666 speed, only if you get it at a good price.
