I MADE A THING IN BLENDER!

Hey,

 

I am current learning blender, a 3D creation suite:

I am learning with this epic platform called CGCookie:

After about 1 hour of learning I was able to make this:

It's very simple, and not much to brag about (Took me half an hour to make, but a person who actually is good at this kinda stuff could of done  it in 2 minutes), but I'm very proud of it as it looks quite professional and interesting, even though this is the first thing I have ever made. What do you guys think of it? What does it make you feel? Where would you think it came from?

 

I rendered the image in 4K, so feel free to use it as a wallpaper or something...

all i will say is that i have used blender for map design for some small games i have made, and it is HELL. Blender i associate solely with un intuitive menues and not working

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I completely disagree. Just beacause something is hard doesn't make it bad. I really think it's great, especially since it's free.

note the "not working" part. i was mapping textures onto shit, worked about 1/100 times. it was so bad i quit makeing games.
