Hello Everyone,

I wanted to tell you guys a little bit about my build, as i am looking to make some upgrades soon and I am always open to feedback!

So here we go!

Intel i5-3570k 3.4 Ghz (4 Cores)

16 GB of G.Skill Ram

Gigabyte GTX 980Ti 6Gb Ram

Windows 10 64 Bit

3 TB HDD (can only use 2Tb)

512 GB SSD (OS)

3 BenQ 24in 1MS  Gaming Monitors (Currently running 2 because i moved and lacking space)

Razer Blackwidow Chroma Keyboard

Razer Deathadder Chroma Mouse

Any idea on what you think I should upgrade first would be much appreciated. I am currently debating about either going with the Intel X series of KabbyLake or the AMD Threadripper. I have always gone with Intel. So it is really a hard debate for me!!!

Can't wait to see what your thoughts are!

What's your use case? what res are the monitors, and do you game on all 3 at once?

if only gaming, get a 8700k, if lots of workstation use then Threadripper.

for gaming, the gpu, for most other stuff, the cpu. threadripper vs kaby-lake x depends on where in the prie range you are. very high end, threadripper, somewhat lower end, kaby lake x

what? TR is cheaper than Skylake X, and 'kaby lake x' is just a 7700k on a new socket.

It's the 3770k I believe. You can get one for under 200 easily and it's still a pretty good cpu

That CPU was under 400 at release. Get a used one or look for a Xeon.
