What's the cheapest DDR4 ram kit i can get without buying crap?

A bit, but I don't know why you would want a 4x4gb kit anyway. Sure, filling all the slots is satisfying but you appear to be on a budget. 2x8gb kits are often much cheaper. PCPP shows kits for as low as $111 USD, if that's what you want to pay then you can crack out the paint and give the spreaders a coat. https://pcpartpicker.com/products/memory/#s=402133,402400,402666,402800,403000,403200,403300,403333,403400,403466,403600,403666,403733,403866,404000,404133,404200,404266&Z=16384002&sort=price&page=1

So i'm planning on building a new pc for my cousin and i'm hung up on what ram kit i should go with, my requirements are:

- Blue

- 4x4 16gb

- DDR4

- From a reputable company (G.skill, Kingston, Corsair, etc..)

The biggest factor for me is price, i want to go with the absolute cheapest, but not absolute crap. Any recommendations?

(Considering just using a basic kit of G.skill Ripjaws DDR4)

I have Ripjaws V and it's great.

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

Corsair Vengeance is great value, and comes in many different speeds, kit sizes, and colours. http://www.corsair.com/en-eu/memory/vengeance-lpx-series?color=Blue|&memorysize=16GB Kit (4 x 4GB)|

Then apologies, but ddr4 4x4 kits don't come cheap, especially when you want colours.

That's honestly the only reason i want 4x4, 2x8 is fine, but it just won't look as good.

Hmm, if you want it to look good, you could perhaps spend marginally more for a $147 USD kit of Corsair RGB, which looks very pretty and should link with most mobos :)

I honestly want to stay away from rgb. For as much as i love it, i want to stick to blue x black, i know it's going to be blue 24/7 so it's unessisary money at that point, you're right about me being on a budget.

Sure thing, just remember you'll probably have to paint the headspreaders yourself if you want a blue themed build :) Post pics when you're done, im sure it'll look great
