Install games on a NAS - Play them on a pc ?

Lean18

That's not streaming, it's fully Loaded OS image to each computer, it just computer without disk, booting from LAN PXE

Thin client is pretty much dead since 2007, so much limitation, since technically it just 1 computer divided to insert how many client you want to stream, of course this won't be much of a use if it only being used by single machine.

The perfect example if there's an update

1 single update usually range from 100MB-1GB, lets assume it was 1GB update patch

Instead downloading 100 GB for all machine, the NAS just download 1GB, and when it's done everyone can use it at the same time.

This saves lot's of time by not wasting more bandwidth and extra money for each computer drive.

2TB drive average $100, I saved $300 by not purchasing another 3

Let alone 100x$100

But then again, I can't change your mindset if that's how you imagine it.

Either way, I already have a NAS, so why not utilize it.
