Can I make sony vegas use my gpu?

Hello, so recently I've been starting to notice a lot of choppy and laggy parts when I edit my videos in sony vegas. At first I thought maybe it was just the videos, but I looked at my cpu usage and it was at 100%. I was uhmmm. Anyways, is there a way to make sony vegas use gpu instead of cpu. Not when rendering the video. But when I'm looking back at it in the preview screen. I found an option that says it's using windows graphics card. I don't know if its talking about the integrated or my 980 ti.

Anyways to my knowledge video editing is pretty CPU intensive and doesn't use your GPU all that much, not saying it doesn't... Just not to it's full potential.

My monitor lies to me.

 

Anyways I found another option that was set to using my integrated graphics. So I switched it. Like you said, it does use my cpu, but it's also now using my gpu

Because there is no such thing as 60hz, it is 59.9hz, Sony just made it literal when all others round up.

When it says Windows Graphics Cards in any program,I find that that means that you don't have your drivers installed correctly.Don't know about vegas specifically though

OP, don't you just need to follow these steps here?

 

I didn't even know you had to enable it, it was enabled by default from what I remember on my pc haha
