Choosing between 2 UHD Monitors.

Arcanekitten

I've being comparing a couple of monitors  for a couple of days and I have narrowed it down to 2 specific ones.

The AOC U3277PWQU http://eu.aoc.com/en/business/products/u3277pwqu/specs

- 3840x2160 Resolution at 31.5"

- MVA Panel (3000:1) 10-Bit color

- Height adjust, Pivot, Tilt , Swivel, Speakers and a USB Hub.

- WLED backlight

- 4ms response time

The LG 27UD68-P http://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-27UD68P

- 3840x2160 Resolution at 27"

- IPS Panel (1000:1) 10-Bit color

- Height adjust, Pivot, Tilt and Speakers.

- Edge-lit backlight

- Freesync support (40Hz-60Hz)

- 5ms response time

Both come in at €449,-

Now I like the stand of the AOC more the bezel's of the LG one are godlike and I already have 2 other LG monitors with the same design (not same monitor)

I'm currently running one 29" ultrawide and a 21.5" Monitor and the third monitor is very old and is getting replaced with a 4K one and I am concerned with the size.

Is the AOC to big? (31.5") Are VA panels better than IPS? And the backlight difference, I do not know anything about can somebody please explain?.

Overal winner in your opinion?

Thanks,

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

The AOC for me because it is slightly larger and has a USB hub, freesync support won't matter unless you're gaming on it. Don't know about the backlighting, IPS is better than VA.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.
