Question about installing ram

So I wanna install more ram. but I have a question. Do I need to take the whole computer apart if Im able to just put the ram stick right into the slot? Cause nothing is covering it. I currently have 32gb installed of https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232476&ignorebbr=1         Im planning on purchasing more. Just making sure that I don't have to unplug anything or do anything special to install these extra sticks of ram. So if Im correct; i'd just put the sticks into the 2 extra slots, and boot up the computer? Again, my question tho is do I need to take the computer apart, other then the side panel. Cause im technically able to just put the ram sticks right in, as I can see them clear as day lol. Thanks!

Turn PC off.

Open side panel.

Flip the slot tabs outward.

Slide RAM into slot making sure the notch and post match.

Lock the tabs by pushing RAM.

Optional: Close side panel.

Start PC.

Praise the Sun!

Mandatory: Close side panel.

You can but make sure to pull out the power first.

You can just plug them in, just be sure to have the PC powered off obviously and make you're not charged with static electricity when coming so close to your motherboard.

Thank you :) Glad I don't need to take the motherboard off or anything. Also whats your input on 64 gb ram? Cause when I run watch dogs 2 for example in ultra It uses like 95% of ram with google chrome open and some tabs.

I would start using Opera or Firefox in lieu of Chrome if you're having issues with RAM usage since you shouldn't be seeing more than 16GB of usage at a time with Chrome and WD_2.
