At the very least the price is only slightly inflated from the MSRP, but they make you buy a 1700x or 1800x instead of a 1700 (probably because no one buys the more expensive Ryzen 7, so they have to empty the warehouses somehow) in the bundle.

... Actually at 1440p and above the 1080 consistently loses against the 64 air. Don't know where you got the cheaper part from? 1080 and Vega 64 air are both $499 MSRP

In Belgium, the rx 64 costs 619€ while I can have a 1080 for 550€

Vega 56 is on par with 1070 and is 400 dollar while 1070 is 380 dollar.

And in Germany you can get a used 1080ti for about 600€.

Outside of US the RX Vega is a terrible deal for gamers...

Europe has funky prices that's not AMD's problem that's greedy retailers. In some countries they sell R5s for more than i5s which is against MSRP. So if you live in 1 of these countries that's just bad luck
