Need help new to overclocking

Ok so I'm new to PC overclocking 

I have a core 2 duo e6600 on a gigabyte Mobo. I can get 2.40 GHz out but anything after that windows crashes or just freezes so I'm just looking for a little help

monitor temps, bump up the voltage by a tiny bit 

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB 

138 is a good number.

Haha @ 2.6 GHz I'm at about 48c and I try to raise the voltage and it just keeps power cycling
