safe to go?

Fardin

Hello everyone :)

So my friend is very low in budget to buy a monitor & prices here are extra high in my country. He was going for a cheap 19inch & I insisted him to get a 1080p 22inch atleast for better experience & future proof. Extending his budget a bit we got only 2 options here are Dell S2216H 22inch IPS 1080p 5ms response vs Samsung C22f390FHW curved 22inch VA 1080p 4ms response. He is not into gaming. It will be for Basic staffs specially Movies & MS office work pc for home. I was going for Dell due to IPS panel then I noticed in few reviews that it has glossy panel & direct sunlight or any light shows on screen to make disturbing experience. He has 100% chance of getting sunlight on monitor for the placement..now my question is, will It be safe to go with samsung C22F3901FHW? I just just want to make sure I don't recommend him something which I regret later haha. thank you in advance :)

VA is very similar to IPS. Keep in mind curved monitors have weird reflections.

The curved monitor will only mean that you will always have reflections. I'd go with the IPS monitor

thank you mate. I will probably suggest the ips panel then if its better overall :)

Well IPS and VA panels both have excellent colour. I would go with whichever monitor is cheaper.

That's an F in the profile pic

they are almost no difference in price..just heard reviews that sunlight or other lights reflect on screen in dell for its glossy panel which is issue to many..so thought if safe to go with samsung then
