Best 4k freesync monitor?

Hello! i've been on the intel+nvidia bandwagon for years, but thanks to amd being badass once again i am swapping over to an all amd system with threadripper and vega (the system in my sig has been sold off to help fund this new project). so the cpu is going to be a 1950x with a zenith extreme mb with 64gb of 3200 memory. currently the zenith is sold out. so i will get the cpu, board, and memory all at once as soon as the zenith is back in steady stock. the vega cards aren't even up for preorder yet, so there's still some time until my new machine will even be up and running. once its built up, it will feature 3 vega 64 cards because unlike nvidia, amd still supports ultra high end setups. but i still would like to grab a monitor for it as soon as i can. i previously ran an acer xb280hk 4k gsync display. that was good, but it only went up to 60fps. i would much prefer a higher refresh rate than that. say 100hz+. 27 - 32 inches big. highest price i'd go is $1000. is there any freesync 4k display that currently fits these specs?

No 4K panels on the market, regardless of free- or g- sync, that do 100Hz. They are all 60Hz for now :( 

There are faster panels on the way but not out yet sadly.

 

*Unless I missed something of course, never seen any above 60*

You can usually overclock them to 75

There are no 4k >60 fps displays ATM. You could look at 34" ultrawide tho, I believe Samsung has a 3440x1440 100 hz curved freesync ultrawide monitor that usually goes for $800 ish

At least not yet.Noth Acer and Asus showed off 144 HZ panels at Computex but there 2k so

i'm not the biggest fan of ultrawide. any standard 16:9 options? i could do 1440p 100hz+ as well.

And they're also delayed until 2018, and are g sync not freesync :/

IPS is prefered. my old acer was tn and had very bad viewing angles and some light bleed. although i know that there's very little ips high refresh rate monitors out there. so as long as its a good tn one, i'd be ok with that as well.

Ok just looked at the Samsung monitor more closely and it's really caught my eye, I think you should go with it.

 

It's 1440p 144 hz and 32", but the awesome parts don't stop there. It supports freesync 2 and hdr, it uses a va panel with only 1 ms response time (so tn response time but with much better colors), and it also has quantum dot tech.

 

Seems really sick to me, and imo it looks good too.

i am liking the acer one. it looks identical to my old gsync one, and it would work as a drop in replacement because its the exact same dimensions in every way. plus its a good price and has tons of reviews.

that acer is out of stock on newegg. but this newer acer model looks just as good and is even cheaper. i think i may go for this one.
