1080p screens only have 1080 pixels vertically. You are now trying to fit 1440 pixels into 1080 pixels. Its like you have a small bag and you want to fit a huge-ass laptop vs a huge bag with a small laptop. So normal people use 1440 x 1080 on 1080p displays, cos a small laptop can fit into a big bag better than a big laptop which tries to fit into a small bag.

Sorry, point is I am not a comp csgo player but I if u change display res in Windows to 4:3 then get monitor to stretch it should work
