I use Hotmail for a lot of things as I have a load  of things registered under a Hotmail address.

Use GMail for work related email as it just sounds better than "Hotmail" in a professional environment. I also have an email registered using a personal domain that is basically my name, using GMail as the provider but I can't justify spending the money on Google Suites right now so it's sitting inactive. Will eventually switch over to that one for work/important email as "Fname@Lname.co.uk is a good address if you ask me.

i stopped using hotmail about 15 years ago when it was a big target for spam.

Im switching to tutanota.de

They have builtin encryption and for a few dollars you can have your own domain.

I've just created an account just to recommend a provider I've been using since 2015 called VIVALDI! I first started using it after I downloaded the (amazing) browser of the same name. The web interface is perfect, it works seamlessly with gmail (through IMAP) and has a pretty classy name too ;D also, as it is a small server e-mail, and as it's not mainstream, there is plenty of names available! Mine is foqs@vivaldi.net

I just switched from hotmail to g-mail, still have some accounts to transfer over and stuff.  I must say gmail is WAY faster in terms of sending and receiving e-mails, and also it allows me to sync with my google account which I use for my android phone and stuff, so it's a lot better for me than outlook.  I must say that to make labels and such on gmail is more complicated, IMO, but having google drive and stuff is way better than the outlook cloud thing.  Overall it's more convenient if you use other google products.  Honestly though outlook and gmail are the best.  But gmail is faster and better for the most part

1 hotmail  (50% of online accounts here

1 vivaldi.net (personal that I haven't shared yet with anyone)

1 protonmail (personal that I shared with 1 person)

2 gmail (1 for marketing emails, and one for professional)

1 office 365 (for school)

Once I get a full job I am going to upgrade my proton mail account with and use a custom domain and have multiple emails from it and get rid of google and Microsoft emails, keep the junk email from google for youtube
