iphone in a humid country...

Hi, I will be travelling to Cyprus tomorrow, Paphos to be specific. Looking at the weather on google, it seems to be quite humid there. The humidity levels Range from around 65% to 95% humidity in the air. I would like to take my phone with me but I don't want to damage it.

What phone is it? A 6S or 7 should be fine, they can survive 30+ minutes underwater.

Yup, should be fine. Even my 6 Plus has survived damp conditions, being dropped in water, etc.

Humidity isn't enough to cause really damage. People have been taking their phones in the bathroom while they take a steamy shower for years.

Don't worry about the humidity.  Just make sure you get an appropriate charger for European countries.  220 volts on a 110 charger will make it smoke for sure.

Water by itself isn't conductive. Dissolved minerals and metals however are what make it conductive.

Arent smartphones properly sealed anyways nowadays? Except for the recent Blackberry KEYone which had screen adhesive issues, most smartphones should be more than ready to resist humid air by not allowing it to enter the device ports or linings, but yeah IP rated phones are impervious to such effects in general.
