Need help on installing a hyper 212 led CPU fan on an am4 mobo the right way up....

dogkutoman

I have a Cooler master hyper 212 turbo led and a asus b350m-a motherboard... I don't want to install it with just the stupid bridge clip where my fans are pointing upwards.. I want to be able to point them on the exhaust at the back of my case. Can I do that using the included brackets and on the B350m somehow?

well it is suppose to have a backplate with bolts i think, and the retention cross thing is kinda of adjustable so its possible it might fit if you didnt use the backplate or you could make your own mounting hardware out of aluminum. there are ways of making it work

that's the thing my mobo's back plate doesnt seem to want to come off... i dunno if its stuck or glued in there... but I'm not sure if should force it. I removed the screws but it won't budge at all.... as for diy mounting.... I dont have the materials tools or space or skill to do that, I live in a cramped apartment with my only tools are a screw driver and all the extra mounts and braces that came with the 212 turbo.... and I can't seem to figure out a way to make any of this work....

yeah that motherboard has a glued on backplate so if you want it off your going to have to pry it off
