Need help changing desk color

Over the course of a few years, I got a small budget setup going. It works well for me and coincidentally everything I have is black, red and/or white.

So I'm wondering if you guys have any suggestions on how to make my current desk/table black (I really do not want to try painting it).

Desk Specs:

- 35.5 inches wide, 29.5 inches long, 1 inch thick

- Wooden desk with some sort of nice, glossy finish

Get a big piece of mousepad fabric and cover the desk and staple the edges to the bottom and you could use your mouse anywhere

That setup looks cramped, and you have space. Get a new desk.

Yeah, I definitely wanna get a bigger desk and probably even an ultra-wide monitor. But for now, this will have to do.

That's actually a pretty good idea, I'll look into it. Thanks!

TBH a cheap ikea setup will probably not cost much more than vinyl wrap to wrap this one, which is the only thing I would do other than paint it.

I guess I'll have to make a trip to Ikea one of these days and see what they have

This could be a wee bit of money depending on materials, which surely would be better spent towards a better desk, no?

again, lamination. It is dirt CHEAP in comparison to an entire desk.

my friend used carbon fiber wrap like the one people used on cars to wrap his table.  Looks good to me
