Should I trust this?

Hello!

As of the current I do not really have the funds for that of anything above £10 for the very early stages of planning my liquid cooling loop. However I stumbled across this listing on Ebay UK: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-X-Silver-CPU-Water-Cooling-Block-Waterblock-Copper-Base-Cool-Inner-Channel-New/142233730721

The seller has reasonable feedback, but I wouldn't know whether I should trust the quality of the block for that kind of a price. I don't like this kind of post question but I am mostly just curious what you guys think about something like this, as it does seem rather to good to be true in my opinion. It has been sold over 97 times which I think may say something but D:

Thank you very much in advance for your replies!

Yeah if you plan on running liquid through a PC on the cheap, do it to an old piece of shit that you don't totally care about. It'd be like putting a Nissan Versa motor in a GTR and then throwing cheap eBay turbos on it.

dude, you gotta love those cheap turbos! You know there legit when they got that Chinese shipping logo on which they say is 'for authentic looks' ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Anyhow, thank you very much for your help! I shall definitely reconsider that of my approach to how I plan to budget with liquid cooling, as I don't fancy having to get a new £350 CPU just because of a £6 block :3

I'd likely never go back to an AIO considering how many issues arose with my 120EX as time progressed. But then again as you say its probably a better solution than doing a custom loop cheaply instead.

Thank you for you reply and help! :D

I would only ever use something like that for experimental purposes on hardware you can lose without batting an eye, even then I just wouldn't personally.  Performance will be subpar and chances of leaks will be much higher than with a good quality block.

Something like a ek Supremacy MX or xspc Raystorm is a MUCH better option IMO.  Yeah they cost a lot more, but they're cheap for blocks, look decent and have available replacement parts with REAL performance.

I think it willl be around January before I begin looking further into actually purchasing anything yet, but honestly right now I don't have it as a priority as I mostly just had plan to do it for the appearance of the loop. I'll probably just get an older Supremacy as soon as I have the chance and get a good quality fittings and tubing that way :D
