How long will these parts stay alive.

zindan

Just at the title says, can someone make a approximately calculation of how long these parts should work before they start to fail.
Intel core i7 7700k
Aorus by Gigabyte GA-Z270X-Gaming K5
Corsair RM750X 750W
Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666mhz 2x4GB
Nvidia gtx 1080ti stock
Hydro h60 Water cooler

I didn't include ssd and fans because they are easily replacable.

THANKS

this isn't a massively helpful answer but I would say "years". They're not going to fail for a long time, manufacturing defects notwithstanding. Worst you might see for a few years is a fan failing on the GPU or H60, which is an easy enough fix. Pump on the H60 might fail first as well, though from my friends' experiences they're pretty long living as well.

There is never a set answer to a question like this. PC parts should last forever so long as you keep them cool and don't push them too far to the point of breaking. As far as performance though, these are brand new parts and should last you many years depending on what companies release and how they do it.

Pc components can last a LOOOOOONG time. The weakest link in that chain are the water cooler, and maybe a fan on the graphics card. Closed coolers like the h60 have to be replaced after about 5 years of continuous use because of the evaporation of the liquid inside it, if the pump doesn't die first.

For example, I still use my almost 20 year old Pentium 4 HP as a router, which means that parts like a cpu, motherboard, RAM, PSU and the board in the graphics card can last for decades.

I have plenty of old Pentium 2s that still work fine. I even have a 27 year old IBM PS/1 that worked until I messed it up. If I fixed it it would still work fine.

These questions are so pointless... frankly.

It will last long enough for you to have enough money to upgrade.

Whatever warranty is and add 2+ years. Ofc there are bad ones, but I haven't heard any PC components to broke within 1 year of warranty ending.

Could last for 10 or more years ... or could fail next week.  There's just no telling when it comes to electronics.

I wouldn't go for liquid cooling if you do care about longevity though.

Same reason why I don't like Antec. I don't mind AsRock, got one s939 mobo still running and thats from 2004/5. Never issues with it.
