Also wtf is this data chart. There is a random Mac Pro in there thats using OpenCL for some reason. This chart also only tells you resolution and codec......

Then get whatever you want. FCP is super easy to use, insanely well optimized (runs fine on my 2012 MacBook Pro, or even the new MacBook with an M3, editing 1080p), and looks great. it isn't as powerful as Premier without a ton of plugins though.

mac pro doesn't have a Nvidia chip, its trying to show how far CUDA acceleration has come, for OP a XPS 15 or aero 15 will be better.

This is far from irrelevant. I would like to see from FCP since Premier is optimized to use CUDA its only fair that the Mac get to use the software that is optimized for it.
