Are Youtube reviewers trashcan dilettantes?

Not Sebastian (not entirely correct) and handful ones but the rest. I tried to watch YouTube after few months later and it got worse. Monotonous, disgusting, narcissism. Despised so much.

I feel like every YouTuber has their own style, which may not be every viewer's taste. As for overall reviewers, I feel like a majority of the quality has gone up. Reviewers are putting a lot more effort into their reviews because they know that viewers can go else where to watch a review of a product. So it's important for them to keep their audiences engaged and happy about the content they create.

But this is just my opinion.

You should understand all these "Tech Experts" in YouTube are paid to say good things about bad products and 99% of build suggestions are extremely poor money management leading tons of people who don't do research for themselves to mistake.

You should rather watch the stuff for entertainment and not to learn, to learn go to a reliable forum like here and go through reliable written articles.

Then again remember this is a world where people pay Double the money (i7 7820x) for the exact same performance of Ryzen 7 1700 so there isn't any logic involved.

I have a hard time watching bitwit now and Linus makes me go rage mode every time he recommends an i5.

Other than that not really.

Because most are paid to give bad advice.  Linus might question Intel, but at the same time, he's paid off by them to make bad suggestions.

Well you pretty much said it. They're "tech experts." They probably started off as PC gamers who happened to get lucky and land a deal with someone to talk about some product with a canned (probably biased) way to test it. Just because you built a PC doesn't make you an expert. Yet that's what I feel some of these people think.

@M.Yurizaki yup, with the exemption of GN and level one techs I think that they all started out in retail.  (Not dissing, I'm in rrtail)

I thought that the forum moderators would block me for this topic as they exhibit lower intellect sometimes.

I am totally agreed with every negative points that's been made out here. The thumbnails with gawky faces or stupid expression are lowering the standard of esthetics. Pointless, irrelevant puns they do. Malware people. Half of these scream minimal, minimal but they buy a ton of stuffs. YouTuber (no formal word) are making the matters problems which are not problems yet.

It's for sure that I don't have to watch if I don't like but discussing it for this break time. Noticed that before 2010/2009 there were truly and genuine reviewers uploaded many opinions with 360p/480p resolution. Now? 4K. Same thing. Unboxing, white/grey/minimal background and empty talks. YouTube should put a filter.

Telling this because you came to know about the meaning for the first time? I used a rough word- trashcan to be more folksy even though I wanted to use a fancy word.

Don't start a big personal attack war. He was just pointing out it's not the best idea to bash the mods on a forum, especially since most of them (all of them I've been in contact with) are reasonable and do a great job keeping the thread clean of clutter and junk. I know I've gotten into a massive debate and derailed a thread a bit, and the awesome mods went back through and cleaned it all up. If we didn't have them, this forum would be terrible.

Always try googling your motherboard and looking at the spec sheet and manual - OEMs keep those up for a reason - and maybe you'll learn something 🤔

I have no idea what you're saying. Are you sitting there with a dictionary? Who's Scaramucci?

EDIT: Ah, "Apopleptic" means indignant/angry (had a hunch on that one, I've heard the word before), and Scaramucci is some politician dude.
