HELP NEED SMARTPHONE: price over performance please

Hey guys just looking on the internet for a phone with similar specs of a flagship but at a cheaper price. Can u guys help me? thx

 

THINGS TO KNOW:

price: the cheaper the better (but prefer under USD $480)

i dont have any brand loyaty so i dont care who made the phone (but dont pick a phone that is made by oppo or apple)

i dont care about specs like 4K screen because i really wouldnt be able to tell the difference

I would like a phone with a large screen and/or big battery (3000 mah and up) and/or up gradable storage

I would recommend the one plus 5 because it includes great features that other flagship phones might have but for a more cheaper reasonable price. When it comes to price to performance, your getting a lot of expandability and upgradability in terms of storage as well as good hardware to optimise better performance when multitasking and general productivity such as watching youtube videos or web browsing. Considering the price and specs of the one plus 5, I think your getting a lot of features for a reasonable price.

By quoting USD you are assumed to be in the US. 

Does it cost the same everywhere? No. Will it work with your unknown carrier? I don't know. Is it the best phone in the world that has no downsides? Definitely not. Is there one with an SD835 that costs the same? Not that I know of. Will it cure cancer? No. Have I ever used one? No. Have I ever used a LeEco phone? No.

since its an older generation phone and society thinks 'nexus is dead', this phone is price at USD $235.79. and the great thing about it, is that it beats phones priced up to USD $577 phone (if you compare this specs that are acually worth it)

 

All i need to know is should i get a 32gb (USD $235) or 64gb (USD $288) motorola nexus 6.

unless the phone has microSD expansion I'd always recommend getting the 64, 32 isnt a lot anymore

Its a bigger, thicker device and they manage to cram a smaller battery into it. Yeah it loses out in 'some other specs' which is literally all other specs. Not that the Nexus 6 is a bad device, but you're giving up a lot just for a bigger screen. If you got a fetish for all things big why not get a Xiaomi Mi Max or Mi Max 2? If you in the market for something under $480 as you said, there some real fantastic phablets out there.

the specs of these phones are great!! :). but what i would like to know is how is the software. the only reason why i wont buy OPPO phones, is that after successfully recommending, they all have something negative about the software (eg its too slow, or i hate how whenever i swipe down i then have to swipe to the right to see my notifications).

 It's their own custom ROM, it's mimicking iOS like most Chinese Android skins. Get a HK model phone to get the Play Store as it is banned in China. 

You may have to ROM it to get a good android experience, but it's quite nice.
