We worked closely with Pixart to bring our expert knowledge of sensor technology based on gamers demands, to enhance the 3360 in areas that are required by pro gamers.

...advanced jitter reduction and custom SROM/firmware that increases sensor accuracy timing.

SteelSeries TrueMove3 sensor technology is the first to bring true 1-to-1 up to 3500 CPI, and above 3500 CPI we found the perfect balance of latency and jitter reduction to achieve 1to1 at those higher CPIs.

Silicone side grips, split trigger design, Omron 50 million rated mechanical switches, and matte finish are all new for the Sensei 310.

The ultra-durable, pro-tested polymer delivers a lifetime of use without signs of wear and tear.

Both mice are $69.99 USD

About time they released a Sensei with an optical sensor.

Watch the crappy launch video here.

Other than Truemove 3 being a marketing joke.

336X sensor with custom srom and two shell variants is a nice touch.

@Droidbot told me the Rival 100 is about to have a refresh as well

Sucks though its not rubberized plastic, and the shell is just plastic. Rip sweaty spaghetti palms

As someone that used to exclusively use the original sensei, and plays the game OSU!, which benefits from an accurate sensor (1to1 being the dream) I am intrigued.

Just watched the ad spot. I actually really like it. It's not really (for a gaming accessory advertisement) cringy, it's honest about the fact that if you're shit you'll still be shit and it doesn't circlejerk maximum DPI. Also, do my eyes decieve me? Seems like the ad is running at 60FPS????

Alright. Going to be honest: I don't like the mouse, but I almost bought one just now because of that launch video. Currently rocking a Roccat Leadr and their marketing is so cringy I almost bought a logitech g502.

Please quote or mention me if you would like a timely reply. Thank you!

They do deceive you, it's 25fps.

I'm guessing they just used some motion blur/interpolation to make it appear smoother.

It was only during the graphics/text so I wouldn't be surprised if they did something like that.

Launch video shows SumaiL (A Dota 2 Pro Player)... I didn't know Dota 2 required insane amounts of precision to attack enemy creeps or heroes. (Maybe it does and I've been playing dota wrong all these years)

So a right-handed mouse and a ambidextrous mouse, where is the love for all the lefties out there? Is there seriously no one in the competitive scene that is demanding a lefty mouse? or do they not care?

if they didn't care ambidextrous mice wouldn't exist, no company is going target left handed people with a high end gaming mouse its like a niche in a niche.

On a side note, what does 1:1 mean? Am not a mouse guy, so I don't really know (and the video really didn't help). Are current mice not accurate enough in that regard? I use a G403, and it feels quite accurate for competitive shooters, but if there truly is a more accurate mouse, I'd certainly be interested in trying it.

now they just gotta fix their shaping and size. That bump the rival 300 had in the bottom right corner really screwed with me and it looks like the rival 310 also has that and I have always hated ambidextrous mice, so no sensei 310. One can only wish for a DA or a EC1-A shaped model :D

Though I know that some people really enjoy their shape and these are probably going to be great for them.

How about, you know, just getting a small draw tablet tho?...

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

They look very nice. Great extra enhancements for sensor as higher 1:1 range.

I have G502 Proteus Spectrum using no weights and mouse serves me well. Also I use 2400DPI mainly for desktop and low in game sensitivity to compensate for good in game sense I require. Also, not putting mouse dpi to low or two high to evade potential pixel skipping.

Still hate those grips.  thanks but no thanks.  Maybe this sensor will turn up in something else though?

Am I the only one that hates silicone grips? I mean, they're good for leashes and stuff, but not for mice.
