Many VEVO channels on YT suddenly "not available in my country"

I just noticed that many VEVO channels from different artists just became unavailable overnight, at least here in Mexico. These channels were available before, I know because I watched a video 2 days ago.
Some of the YT channels I detected:

 

Paul Young

The Bangles

Modern Talking

Bonnie Tyler

Billy Joel

 

And some more...

The question is WHY!?
