They have a lovely count down and WCCF has a nice article going over the know specs of a few x399 boards. we should get a lot more info on July 27 and get a exact release date versus the speculated date of Aug 10.

Really wishing I had waited on building the new system. I really wanted quad channel memory (because it looks awesome).

 

Don't get me wrong the 7700k is nice, but if I had waited I could have probably gotten better prices.

Interestingly, the ASRock X399 board will have 10GbE onboard.  No PCIe card required, it will be directly integrated.  It was mentioned in an AMD webinar yesterday.

If game devs properly supported scaling on more cores. This is perfect. Also some boards have 3 Ethernet ports which typically is used in scenarios like workstations.

Simply cause for some reason, that I am sure someone more steeped in that type of knowledge, slapping gaming on it makes it sell more.
