Where to buy a liter of distilled water?

Title says it all, all I see are one gallon sized bottles of distilled water and a liter sized bottle of water is distilled water that have electrolytes added into it.

it's what your loop craves.

also why specifically a liter? I'm not following I guess, just buy gallons? Why would you need it pre measured, and in metric?

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

Well, I don't have just a liter bottle lying around and I'm getting a concentrate of cryofuel which requires 900ml of water. I just figured getting a liter of water would be easier.

but they're all in gallons, and he lives in japan. He needs liters. A gallon is 3 and some odd liters. He can't have that. That's too much distilled water, that's like 150 yen. Too much money after he's bought his watercooling loop. Or he doesn't want to be wasteful.

In which case you can drink it. It's just pure water.

OCD-ic thing to ask, but if I poured the water into that, would it just be conductive again?

If it will be in any clean new vessel that you got from amazon in that case won't it be in your loop? Follow up, cryofuel is conductive.

Just buy 1G or 4L of distilled water, its going to be like $1.50 or $2.00 its fuck all.

If you want your 1L of distilled water, just make your own.

Watercooling is always a risk, low conductivity just helps mitigate it, not eliminate it.

If you are worried about it, run the loop for a day or so with just the pump on, rest of PC unplugged, power supply out of the case. Longer if you want. Place paper towels where you think water would fall from leaks at fittings- you can't catch everything, water will flow along lines and drip if there's a leak. But water damage happens when it's on. Like you could leave a laptop in the rain and I'm likely able to fix it as long as no one tired to power it on. If you tried to, it's iffy. Anyway if you do end up with dripped water on components, dry thoroughly and look for corrosion, especially anything that could bridge something. If you see corrosion, get 99% isopropyl alcohol and a clean toothbrush and scrub at it. 91% is easier to find, and can work as well, but just make sure it dries. Avoid ~70%, 50% is half water.

This in an incredibly low conductivity, and is far lower than for example any biocide additive that contains ions (Mayhems Biocide Extreme). To expect a coolant to be non-conductive is simply unrealistic since if you have any ionic substance dissolved into the coolant, this will conduct electricity. The only way to truly have a non-conductive fluid is to run pure MillQ grade water (18.2 megaOhms per cm3 resistance) constantly and being replaced since the water will also pick up ions from your loop.

was my point basically, if you are worried about a well cleaned measuring cup adding a small amount of contaminants to distilled water, then it's worth pointing out  that even the coolant is conductive and he shouldn't worry. If a measuring cup will contaminate it so will the coolant and so will the loop itself for that matter.

Buy a gallon and a liter measurement?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)
