Which phone?

Looking primarily between two phones via T-Mobile in the US:  the LG G6 and the LG V20.  Both will cost about the same.  The Google Pixel XL is the other option which will cost more.  Which would you get if you had these selections and why?

Sigh...maybe I'll go back to Samsung or bite the bullet on the Pixel's cost...feels like every phone sucks in some way though.

Might do that.  I seem to have bad luck with new model phones.

Had an LG V20. Avoid at all costs. It's just not worth it because of boot loop issues that haven't been addressed by the G4 version. I believe the G6 is going to have the same issue.

I bought the Galaxy S8 under a corporate plan because it was quite a bit off the sticker price. Best decision I made for a solid piece of hardware. The V20 is my favorite paperweight now.

In the G4 at least LG already admitted it was a hardware issue.  Not sure about the subsequent failures.  There's a class action lawsuit for the G4, G5, V10, V20, and Nexus 5X for the bootloop issue.  Maybe G6 is ok?  I dunno.  V20 released around the same period.

Yeah, did a bit more research.  The G4 and possibly V10 had bad soldering that would crack over time with heat and cause the issue.  The other ones were added to the lawsuit as a 'just in case' scenario.  Any other bootloops appear to be software related, and newer G-series phones use a heatpipe design and not the same soldered connection design.  On top of that, LG knows their reputation is in the crapper so they're offering an extra year of warranty for registering....and I can get the G6 on sale.

Maybe it's mental, but I'm actually considering the G6.
