EVGA supernova nex650g1 quite loud under light to medium load

Hello all,

I bought an EVGA nex650g in december of 2016, and have noticed it is quite loud under a very low load, System is a 6600k, strix 1070, 16gb ram and h100i v2 with a 2tb hdd and 3 SSD's. Should this be a bit concerning? warranty is 10 years and the store i bought it from are very good with returns and warranties. Thanks in advance guys?

My PC is running and I can't catch it....

If ECO mode is on and it's still loud then it is what it is. I don't recall the NEX being very quiet.

I have a 650G1 and it's crap. Even with just a few watts of load it's louder than my PC under full load. And yes, the RM650i is a good PSU.

I'd look at their supernova g3 if you want silent. I've never heard a single thing from mine in the year or so I've had it.
