This is good right?

Hey so I have been buying parts for my new PC for about a year now and I want to check once more to make sure this isn't being bottle necked by some random thing or something of that sorts.

I have all the parts besides the monitor im not decided on and the keyboard, ram, and cpu cooler.

Here is the PCP list; https://pcpartpicker.com/list/D8FxJV

Nope, but you have a outdated processor that gets beat in multithreaded tasks with a Ryzen 5 1600X that costs about $240.

It's a pretty killer setup, though might as well go for even faster RAM with that kind of setup. I might go 4x4GB on the RAM though to be able to use quad-channel since you're going X99.

I bought that processor a year ago before Ryzen was a thing, do you think it really is "outdated"? I don't mean by Ryzen beating it with price, but I don't want to buy another CPU/MOBO for a few years at least, it is a 6 core so it should last me right? I'm going to oc it a bit as well.

Is it really that much faster? I was going to get the 2 sticks of 8 so that in the future I and buy another 2 sticks of 8 and have 32gbs of ram.

It's "SORTA" outdated, but Ryzen 5 would just be a sidegrade. It will last you for awhile.
