Are fans/heatsinks still rare for LGA 2066?

dlanz

It's my understanding that LGA 2066 is still relatively new.  I'm having some difficulties finding fans/heatsinks for it and am wondering if they just haven't hit the market yet.

If this is the case, can anyone suggest how long it normally takes for fans/heatsinks to hit the market for new socket types?

If it is not the case, could someone suggest a decent fan/heatsink for an LGA 2066 on an Intel X299 chipset Mobo?

Just for added info, I'm looking at:

Quick follow up question.  What the "-3" represent?  I'm finding multiple versions of LGA 2011 and don't want to risk picking the wrong type.  I see there are narrow and square types in the categories on newegg.

LGA 2011 and 2011-3 are different sockets

Hmm, could you suggest a decent fan/heatsink for LGA 2011-3?  I don't see a category on newegg for LGA 2011-3 fans/heatsinks.

Nevermind.  There isn't a category for it, but it's usually listed in the specs.

Thank you for your help!

Oh, but just to clarify.  LGA 2011-3 is the same as LGA 2011 v3, right?  I'm assuming so, but I don't keep up on all this all of the time.
