What will happen when Linus dies?

Who will take over LMG when Linus dies or retires? What will happen to LMG? Will everyone just leave, or will his kids take over? Kinda a morbid question, but I'm just curious. Thanks!

I think OP wants Linus to die already which is very bad. I think Linus did a good job not only as a manager but also a CEO.

I would imagine Luke or Yvonne if it were sudden now, but realistically I think he is trying to prepare to have a lesser role in the channel (Even if he is the face for now).

I don't work with Linus and I've never met him in person, but he comes across as a very genuine person, someone who cares.  I imagine he already has contingency plans and they likely cover both his family and employees.

Depends on his wishes: Cremation is popular or maybe just embalming. It's a good idea to avoid all of the maggots and stuff. Oh but knowing Linus he might want to get the ultimate nitrogen cooling rig for himself and just opt into cryogenics instead.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ok serious answer: I say within 5 to 10 years he probably won't be the host of most of the videos and brand the company something else like LMG or LTT only (Kind of like KFC) and at the even longer term if floatplane pans out he'll go full Gaben and just live off the platform (though that's a long shot, no offense). Probably a lot more sponsored videos and not the ones you see on LTT but like actually doing spots or videos for other people: He's putting down a lot of money on editors, sets, expensive equipment the natural step is to put that to good use as a production company and not so much as an original content creator.

I strongly doubt LMG will last until Linus dies of old age, at least not in its current form. If it eventually moves on from youtube and becomes a "normal" video production studio though it may last for a long time, who knows - either way for something to go on for so long eventually it will have to get on the stock market, and at that point one person will no longer be the owner of the whole thing.

on a serious note , cant imagine Linus being like a reviewer really old , like the digital foundry guy , but that guy is seriously professional , Most probably the company will be handed over to his Kids & they might try to follow up where he left off .

Actually living in a big city, chances are greater that Linus could die.
