Any linux users out there?

Hey guys, just curious about how many of you are running a version of Linux in at least one computer in your home. It can range from anything as long as you use it time to time :)

 

Share your computer build along with what "flavor" of Linux and even why if you wanna spread the love!

I'm running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS on my Lenovo Thinkpad T430 :)

using it right now as a matter of fact!

Yea, I have an ancient laptop that I use daily for browsing, running elementary OS.

Right now I have 2 main instances of Linux running on computers. On my desktop I have a ArchLinux VM with XFCE as the desktop environment which I used for work and other programming. Then I have my laptop, a Asus N550JX, which is only running Xubuntu 17.04. Besides that I technically have a couple Raspberry Pis laying around that are running versions of Raspbian.

Just keeping this here as a I have a triple boot of Windows 10, Windows 7 and Ubuntu 16. It's much easier to compile codes on Linux/unix

I have a Lenovo 100S 11" netbook running Ubuntu Budgie. Battery life is amazing at about 8 hours screen-on-time and it's very useful for browsing, watching movies or videos (at 1080p yes) and with libreOffice I even use it for some school-related projects. I have teamviewer running on my desktop for the tasks it can't handle and do 3D design that way. Picked it up for €80,- with some sticking keys (that were easily disabled). Ubuntu required some mild modification to work but most of the fixes had already been done by other users of the same chipset (it uses a 32-bit UEFI but supports 64-bit OS).

1 laptop has Ubuntu 17.04 Gnome (Going to replace it with Pop!_OS when it is out of alpha and beta) and Fedora 25 (need to upgrade), 1 laptop with just Ubuntu 17.04 Gnome, and my desktop has Ubuntu 17.04 Gnome (also going to be replaced with Pop!_OS)  All use the pop gtk theme and icons. I also have a openSuse Tumbleweed VM.

My mom uses KDE Neon on her Lenovo Ideapad Flex 4, I use openSUSE Tumbleweed on my ASUS K501UW, my sister has Ubuntu on her HP laptop and I've got a Raspberry Pi.

I'm currently using Debian 9 (Stretch) and I love it, before this I've been using Debian for the last decade. I used Ubuntu 10.04 back in Middle School on my Netbook, I tried using the current release but I'm not a fan of the UI. I know there are distros like lubuntu or xubuntu but I would much rather stick with Debian.

Running mine 18 I think, I have a windows 7 VM but I mostly code in Python. It is there to test my scripts work if a client happens to be using windows.
