Same prices? 7790.

Hi, guys! I'm looking to buy a used gpu and since I'm on tight budget, these two card are the best I can get!
It seems that gtx 560 ti is somehow faster than 7790 but it's older and I don't know if 7790 would benefit from being newer architecture or not.
Also there's Gtx 470 it's faster than both in TPU ranking and I can get it for cheap here but it looks ancient!

what's your opinion, guys?

Online benchmarking websites for older gpus are not accurate and i wouldnt trust that much for hd 7790.

Check this one http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html

They update this link very often, it is not like which gpu is better but what tier it is..

GTX 560ti is one tier above HD 7790..

As far as i know that is pretty accurate..

Save up about 30$ more, and buy a used card from a never generation. This is more or less just throwing money away.

Perhaps a used GTX 770 or something

I'd personally go with the hd 7790. The 560 ti is a bit faster but not that much and it will also use much more power and is also older.

Not here in EGYPT, maybe from eBay but shipping would cost me an arm and a leg!

Yeah I agree with you, and yes 560 ti is faster "at launch" but as you said benchmarking old gpus is not accurate nowadays as it's probably done with old games and old drivers but as you may know AMD is well-known for its maturing drivers that's why I've asked about the performance in newer games especially that 7790 has a newer architecture than 560ti

I think you're right, it seems that 7790 got some improvements through drivers.

Thanks for all replies!
