I agree that you can have better for 700$ in the US. Could you list if you bought something already or if you have other options avaiable?

For example, you'd be much better suited with a G4560 CPU and a 1050Ti for gaming.

Can you return the GPU? This build is super-overkill on the CPU side but once the mining craze dies down sell the 1050Ti and get a Rx580, GTX 1060, or even maybe a 1070.

Here's a rough build I've put together, it goes slightly over budget but that can get solved if you wait for ryzen 3.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qBYWqk

I've used a gtx 1060, which would probably be your best bet if you want to play other games as well

Bad build no offense

3GB of VRAM is really not enough in 2017, and the 1060 3gb is horrible value. Don't sacrifice the PSU for a shitbomb and also the CPU could be better with his budget.

Thats why I said it was a rough build, I was going to put a 1060 6gb but that would bring it closer to $800.

On second thought the psu choice could be better.

With this budget, you can get a better cpu, a r5 1400 oc or a upcoming r3 overclocked will still be more then adequate to max out a a 1060/rx480

but why adequate when you can have a more future-ready (not proof that's impossible) CPU

It costs more, the build is already over budget and personally I value a better graphics card that gives me performance gains now rather then a cpu that might be useful in the future, What your saying is not wrong, a lot of my friends have brought 1600x's with a gtx 1060 6gb for that reason, it depends on what you value more. hopefully this is helpful to the person who created this topic.

Each to their own I guess

Get at least 8GB of RAM and also get a 1050Ti for now, better value, then upgrade to a used 1060 6GB or RX580 after the mining dies down they will be under $150 as people dump them
