HD 7950 still worth to pick up?

Hey guys im new around here and i recently got a new budget pc thats lacking a gpu for gaming, i have a friend that is offering me a Sapphire Vapor-X HD7950 for less than 100usd ( converted from my countries currency) which is pretty much a very cheap and an offer that i could afford just nicely since my budget is around that atm. wiht that being said it is still worth to pick up,its practically still new as my friend told me he never used it as its his backup graphics card. I did compatibility and bottleneck testings and the results were just fine. My preferred gaming is 1920x1080p and 60ghz fps.Tq for reading and hope i can have some help. tqvm

For less than $100 USD, it's worth it IMO.

 

With the mining craze going on they sell for much more.

I've got a Vapor-X HD 7950 paired with my i5-4690K.

It has no issues with less demanding games (e.g. OverWatch, CS:GO, GuildWars 2), and can skill play the newer AAA games with reduced graphics settings (e.g. High instead of Ultra).

 

The HD 7950 (AKA R9-280) is more or less around the performance of a GTX 1050 Ti... or in between the RX 560 and RX 570 ish (?)

buy it. it shud function fine. i had a 7870 2gb [non oc] that worked well before at that resolution a bit tuned down so u should fare well

[not that i have 1080p anymore i am on 1440p]
