i have a question about windows 10 and mics

 i have two mice one buit into my hp omen and one on my ear buds can i set one to be defult

when i pluge my ear bud the labtop mic gets change to the ear buds witch sucks

im noop in this sound stuff

Your earbuds have a built in computer mouse?

Mice = Plural of Mouse

Mics = Plural of Microphone

 

You can right click on the speaker icon on the right side of the task bar and select Recording Devices. Then you "should" be able to right click on the proper device and set as default.

You can disable and enable the individual ones in devices I believe.

Right click on the Speaker icon on the taskbar, then select Recording Devices. From there, pick the mic that you want to use, then press Set as Default.

If you want to change your microphone simply open the sound control panel and in the recording devices, select the one you need;

 

press the keys Win+R

in the "run" window, type mmsys.cpl

go on the "recording" tab and the select the appropriate microphone

in the same window, right click on the microphone, go to properties and you should have a "listen" tab
