Need help! U3415W or U3417W

Hi guys, I'm looking for a good ultrawide with good warranty service and quality. After some research, it comes down to 2 monitors; U3415W and U3417W. And... here comes the problem.

 

I live in Hong Kong. Dell doesn't sell the u3417w here. If I buy that monitor, I will have to order it on computeruniverse.net and have it shipped all the way from Germany to HK. However, the U3415W is available in HK. I can order it either from dell or purchase it from a local store. 

 

Here are some pros and cons. Would you guys give me some suggestions? Is the U3415W still worth buying? I really can't decide...

Pros:

Cheaper: HKD 6000 (about 768 USD)

Available locally

Warranty

 

Cons:

Backlight Bleed

Older model

 

U3417W

Pros:

Better quality

newer panel

Less bleeding

 

Cons:

Slightly more expensive: EUR 760 (about 880 USD)

No warranty

Have to risk shipping damage
