Dell T3500 Front Dual Fan Cage !!

OK So i have Dell T3500 ( xeon w3690 ) which gets really hot on 100 % rendering load, touches 90C on all 6 cores.
As it only has two fan sockets on the motherboard which is occupied by the front Dual Fan, which put air on the CPU heat sink and the ram ( Please correct me about the 1 fan putting air on the ram if im wrong, its important for my post).

So i want to unplug the Fan which throwing air on the RAMS and i want to use that fan slot to get another FAN attached to the CPU COOLER ( just like typical Air Coolers are ).

Is it ok to do that? this motherboard has 6 ram slots but im using only 2 slots ( 8x2 = 16GB).

I attached the Picture with some photoshop skills, however this picture is not mine but this is the same stuff, i have only 2 rams, rest is same in the picture.
The ram i have one is with heat sink and other one is normal typical kingston one.

Hey, I would not recommend unplugging the top fan, that fan is what also helps cool the video card. I also thought of different ways of cooling my T3500, so I have including pictures of what I did to mine, hope this helps.

But my PSU is old one it does not have much molex connector so thats why im thinking of doing this.
for the GPU temps its fine even in intense load ( like mining ) it never go above 60C.
Also i have put off the side panel so its open from the side.

Well, if the single molex connector on the stock power supply is not in use, I would recommend getting an 80mm fan and power it that way. Also there is a third fan header at the top of the motherboard, that is not used. It is to the left of the floppy drive connector on the motherboard. But you need to purchase a 5pin to 4pin adapter in order to use these proprietary dell fan connections on the motherboard.

It is the black 5 pin connector next to the floppy drive connector. To be able to use it with a standard 4pin fan you will need an adapter like this one.

You can buy a heatsink on eBay that's already been modded with an extra fan.  The fan will plug into the extra fan header that other members have mentioned.  If nothing else, take a look at it to get some ideas on modding your own heatsink:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/201977402405
