1. R7 240 is like a budget shit gpu that barely does its job to be a gpu and even an igpu does better

2. Phenom is also old and runs like crap

So for the games you listed it might not run at all, with exception of maybe Minecraft

An R7 240 is a horrible card and has a bad value. The PC also isn't very good anymore and is severely outdated. You would spend $120-$140 on a dead end system that won't run any of the games you want to play very well at all.

i5 6600k @ 4.4ghz on Hyper 212 Evo

Powercolor RX 480 8Gb Red Devil @1330Mhz

Bottom line:  Don't be a spaz or an 800lb gorilla when installing your expensive CPU, and you won't have any problems. --Phate.exe

This PC is at best for office work only. It can only play webpage-based games and minesweeper, if you are into that.

R7 240 is shit when it first came out (Linus has a rant video specifically for it), so might as well stick to the GPU that comes with it. OR not consider this deal at all.

ReviewTechUSA recently did a video with an HP with a Phenom in it.  The Phenoms can still game decently, you just can't expect to pair a 1080 Ti with it.

But if you threw in a 1050, 1050 Ti, or even a 460 or 560, it'll do just fine.

Temperament your expectations.  You'll never run those games at max settings.  Medium is what you are looking at for most of them.  Maybe high with lighter titles such as Rocket League.

Here's the video, in case you're wondering.

Just make sure you pair an actual good budget GPU with it.

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.
