Some of your favorite smaller YT Channels?

TechSquidTV

I'll leave it up to you to decide what counts as "small", I'd probably consider anything under 100K subs. Tech channels or otherwise, who are some of your favorite smaller Youtubers? How did you find them?

The vast majority of the channels I'm subscribed to are small (as in less than 40.000 subs).

A couple of favorites would be

How did I find them? Well, I've followed most of them for years, from way back when it was actually possible to discover smaller channels on YouTube.

I also follow a lot of niché music channels, and they don't tend to have a lot of subsribers simply due to the subject matter.

Druaga1

I just love his videos, fun to watch.

Lieutenant North Dakota

I just love watching him.  He's also a personal friend and my neighbor IRL.  (Yes, I'm serious, he actually is).  We also go to college together and he's my neighbor at the dorms also, lol.

It'sMyNaturalColour

IMNC is also fun.  Granted, I love older Apple tech, and he covers a lot of that.

Each&Everything

He scams the tech scammers.  Some have been pretty funny also.

GojiFan1993

GojiFan93, as he's usually called.  Generally cool dude.  Unfortunately he gave up on his channel, and the fandom for the most part, not that I blame him (the fandom has become so toxic).  I've talked with him personally on TohoKingdom forums.  He's a nice guy and I'm sad that he quit.

TimmyTechTV

I like this guy, but he hasn't uploaded in 6 months, so I don't know.

RandomGaminginHD

I'm cheating here a little bit.  He has more than 100K subs, but god do I love how he looks at older hardware.  He deserves at least twice the subs.

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.

Under 100k subs is pretty hard for me. But here are some you may not have heard about....yet.

danooct1

He basically does videos on virus, trojan, and worm payloads.

Maximilian Dood

His Dead or Alive Xtreme videos are fricken hilarious

Maxxarcade

Really like his computer videos/rants. You can also learn a bit about PSUs from his rants about cheap supplies.

Squirrel

Simulation gaming.

DennisBunnik Travels
Airline reviews. Just interesting to watch.

DrBFraser

One of my profs. His videos are pretty good.

ChinTudeHD

I don't really have to explain this one...

LY Chinchillas

Again... no explanation needed.

Just some I've watched recently off the top of my head, I'm sure there's more. I love supporting small channels, they also make content that I just find funner and more interesting. Most of the bigger channels just don't really do it for me anymore.

Bosnianbill - a great lockpicking channel

Spectre Sound Studios - a great channel about recording (mostly metal) music with super direct host

Christopher Frost Photography - want to buy a Cannon EF mount lens? Watch this guy. He has series of real world tests for Canon mount lenses and and it is easy to spot the difference in image quality. Not that much into theory but more into practice
