yes, if everything else is fine, you need a new motherboard

Hi, I am new here. So please be nice haha.

I work in a ciber café. And I am the "Tech guy".

Well right to the point. One day the computher was working fine but suddenly it showed like gitchy image on screen and then never turn on again.

Just turns on for like half a second and then off.

Can someone help?

I check the RAM and the PSU but they seem fine.

Here are the specs:

Motherboard-GIGABYTE GA-J1800N-D2PH

Power Supply-EDGE Systems AF-B500 Slim 500watts

RAM-4GB DDR3

They have Intel processor dual core at 2.6GHz

We have 4 identical computers so I can swap parts.

Plase Help :c and good day :)

Since this is a cyber cafe I won't comment on the terrible PSU.

I wrote a guide to troubleshoot these kinds of problems, you can find it in my signature :)

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

Computer having a hard time powering on? Troubleshoot it with this guide. (Currently looking for suggestions to update it into the context of <current year> and make it its own thread)

Try to swap the CPU. Sounds like the iGPU messes with the picture. If not change part after part to analyze what part it is :D hope it helped!

only a few things that could be wrong :P if it isnt ram or psu, check cpu and mobo

it could be something obscure and unexpected like the cpus igpu not working seeing as theres no graphics cards

The CPU comes integrated on the Motherboard. Is like the one on a laptop.

If nothing else is wrong and you checked the other parts it seems that the CPU is causing the issue :/ for safety try to boot from another drive.

Well it's from a brand I've never heard of and it probably was really really cheap; it will do its job powering a cyber cafe computer but I wouldn't trust it with gaming hardware. I doubt it can do full 500W.

Sounds like you'll need a new one yeah.

It might be a problem with the display output - the VGA connection. But there's no way to test that.

Oh that's not good.

Probably the PSU honestly. Bad PSUs can kill computers

take out a HDD or SSD with Windows, put it in the system and start it. Press F12 or F2 to boot into the BIOS then select the drive in boot priority (if the system even boots )
