I'm getting it too... But I have no monkey on mine. Do I let the tab stay open or just wait it out? It's also happening on my phone too.

I doubt it is a hack as they, YT, has a planed launch of the "new" YT, i was using the trial. They are probably rolling out the new code.

Oh no... Not new YouTube. They screwed it up about 30 times already since 2005. Are they changing channels AGAIN?

I find my Netflix audio is rubbish sometimes you have to raise the volume so loud to hear the talking then a gun shot goes off and the police arrives outside....so it is John Wick 2 bluray for me.

YouTube really needs to change back to the old 2010 channel layout. It was so much easier to navigate.

I quiet like the new one better than the old version and the "clear" look of the player is really nice too and thanks to the coders for a dedi dark theme.

wow I have so many DVDs that I could rip but I'm too lazy and I don't have a NAS or a way to access them off my Wi-Fi Network. I would need that to make ripping movies worth it beyond Down Periscope, War of the Worlds 2005, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

lol

You really don't need a NAS, if you have a router with USB capabilities or old hardware. I have a generic desktop running all my movies and music on the network with backups as hotswap on my gaming rig. Manual copies made once a week.

yeah but I would need to be able to access them on another network. Having them at home is not really useful to me, I could just use the disc.
